This past Thursday, members of the Parent Action Committee came together at the Brun's house up the mountain at about 3,000 feet. It was a great time of fellowship, food and fun, especially the last 10 kilometres to their house taking 40 minutes. The view was spectacular. Here you can see the terracing on the side of the mountain where the local people plant their crops.

Pasture land? Going for a walk we came upon this open field in the mountains. Wide open spaces with no fences in sight. Only a few cows and some horses with some locals walking across the grasslands to their destination. It alsmost reminded me of the farmers' fields back in Ontario :-)

When one looks for God's presence in His creation, you can certainly find it. Open my eyes Lord that I may see You in my daily activities. The Brun house up the mountain had many flowers and among the beautiful blooms, Mary found the bee busy at work. The Bruns have planted more than 7,000 trees on their property and are busily involved not only in their own businesses, but also in reclaiming the land so that it may be more productive for the local people.

This past Saturday was graduation for the grade 12 class. The program did start only 20 minutes late:-) The students represented the school well with the words spoken. Most of the students will be traveling to the various colleges in the US where they have been accepted. It is our prayer that they will remember their class verse from Jeremiah which states for I know the plans - plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. May their plans always be made in the light of His Word.
