This past past Friday the parents received the report cards of their children at the parent teacher conferences which were held from 7 A.M. - 1 P.M. The students in the MS/HS could come along with the parents and attend the conferences if they so desired. Some did. There was a good turnout of the parents - about 85 % in the MS/HS and better yet in the ES.

This past week the grade 6 class led the ES chapel with a drama script they wrote. With the aid of the puppets and the students in costume, the story of Moses was well presented. It certainly kept everyones' attention. We even had some parents come to watch the children present the gospel.

Soccer is THE sport of Haiti. This year there is also ES soccer - on Mondays for the grades 1 and 2 on 1/3 of the field and the grades 3 and 4 on the other 1/2 of the field. Good math eh? Not only the children love to stay after school, but the parents love that their tykes are able to participate in school activities like this.

Wednesdays at DeKoters - we have an open invitation for the single teachers on campus and a few others to come for a free meal on Wednesdays at 6 PM. No reservations required. No fee required. Just come and enjoy the food and the fellowship and the fun. Would you believe that we have had at least 12 in our small space? You should hear the joyful laughter :-)
