Our mechanic is kept busy each day keeping the vehicles up and running. The Haitian drivers know how to drive, but they are not the owners of the cars and therefore do not check the oil, water, transmission fluid or whether the vehicle is overheating or . . . . He replaces transmissions, breaks and will hopefully check out our fan for our vehicle tomorrow.

These boxes are being brought by our army friends from the airport because no one is claiming them. We go through the boxes and add to our limited storage and then make the hospitals, clinics, etc aware of the free bandages, fluids, crutches, gloves, etc . Come and get it. At one time we had more than 20 of these containers. God is good.

Organizations asked me to recycle water bottles aso they could distribute cooking oil. I did. I had more than 20 bags full and only 5 bages were used for this purpose. Ugh! And so my science is presently doing a science project entitled, After the Plastic Pop Bottles, What's Next?

Today we were reminded once again in church, what do you do in a crisis or where do you go in a crisis? We talk of God's faithfulness in days past and we know where we are going in the the days ahead. We walk with our risen Saviour. But when push comes to shove, who do you rely on? Your own resources like Jacob? Or do you run with God? I saw God in this Sonset and I need to run with Him each day, also when I am afraid.
