This is Quisqueya Chapel, the church we attend on Sundays. We get a ride each Sunday from one of the teachers who also teaches at Quisqueya Christian School. The chapel is about 10 minutes from the school. The chapel is not on the school grounds nor is it associated with the school, as many people may presume. The word Quisqueya means cradle of life. This was taken at our first church service in Haiti. It is a church plant of the Hatian CRC. It was a mountain top experience and the location was also on the mountain top.
This is the outside of the church. The members of this church are saving to build a church on a flat piece of land on the mountain. It will cost about $3,000 American. They said they will build when God provides the money.
