Clean air?
We have ceiling fans in the kitchen and the bedroom to help move the air in our apartment. Our windows we never open because of the noise of the main street. Usually the air outside is warmer than the air inside and yet . . . the contents of the air inside needs to be purified. That is one item on our list this summer - an air purifer:-)
This is Guens who will be finishing his high school this year. He is the son Susette who comes each week to clean our apartment. We pay for her children's education and have decided to support her son who desire to become a doctor to help the people of Haiti. He will be taking an entrance exam in August and if he is accepted - only 120 students enter the program each year - Mary and I will ensure that the funds are there that be may pursue his dream. Keep Guens in your prayers that the Lord will continue to use him to serve his people.
The rains have come but . . . This past week it has been hot and humid. No rains. The grass is green and the flowers are blooming, but we could use a lot more rain. Even in the dry season we can see the beauty of God's creation. It all depends where you look. Be sure to see Christ's presence as you enter a new work week. Where did you see God today?
