I/We are back in the groove. This was the start of our Monday morning breakfast staff meeting put on by the administration. It is a great way to start - food and fellowship and . . . . an air-conditioned room - some what. What luxury! Welcome to the new school year!

I did a staff presentation on assessments - we need to give positive feedback to our students. How do we test? What kind of tests do we use? How often do we test and how do we report? It must be more than a unit test given in the textbook. Hmmmmm. Interesting meeting.
This is the wood from the trees cut down from along the school wall. It was sold to a person who needs wood for his daily business such as a bakery. Our lose was his gain. the price was basically just for removal of the wood.

This section is now treeless. It is warmer than before and what will stop the soccer balls going over the wall? Since the roots were not removed, we see new growth of the trees once again. The Lord is good.

This was a stump from one of the trees. It took two men three days to chop it into small enough pieces to remove the stump. There were two of these stumps. While the one was chopping, the second was creating a new handle for their axe because it broke many a time

School starts this Tuesday:-)
