I'm back!

The main thing that meets the eye is the wall construction. The wall - a city block long was moved - at the school's expense. The work started shortly after school finished in May and is almost to completion. That's good since school starts a week from this coming Tuesday.

It is hot, humid, and dry here. The rains haven't returned yet. That would help greatly to control the dust.

Today the staff will have a time of fellowship with a meal together before the work starts tomorrow. The staffing is not yet complete. Pray that the Lord prepares the way so that we are able to meet the needs of the students with a full staff.
The wall as we exit our basement apartment

The scaffolding on the street side, opposite our apartment.

The old and the new - this was and will be the place where we park our car. The debris is gone, but so is the plant life.

The trees used to be in the wall or on the school grounds. With all the trees removed, one feels the intensity of the heat. Even the grass on the soccer field is scorched. A reforestation plan is needed for the school - to replace all the plant life that was lost.
