We visited Kez this past Saturday at
Angel Missions Haiti a Christian non-profit group dedicated to helping families in Haiti obtain life-saving medical care for their children. She is the nurse Mary travels through the ravine on Mondays. These are triplets who have doubled their weight since they arrived in PAP from northern Haiti.

This is Kez who is travelling with the US army for the next two weeks as interpreter and nurse in the Jacmal area. Upon her return, she and Mary will start the ravine program once again.

Chess anyone? Our director promised a game to one of the Haitians who came to the school picnic. Our director is an excellent player and the chess game was given to the young Haitian so he could play the game with his friends.

The school picnic provided a free lunch of chicken and rice and fries and hot dogs and pop. The parents were asked to bring dessert or a salad. A great day of fun and fellowship and food in a secure and safe environment.

Rather than do the grade nine initiation this year, we had a class clash afternoon where the grades were pitted against eachother in obstacle course, trivia and tug-a-war games. It helped build class spirit and comaraderie among the students. A very positive change.
