This past Friday afternoon we had our first Parent-Teacher Conferences, discussing the progress of the students in a beginning way. The emphasis was more on behavioiur and classroom habits than the academics. Our next set of conferences will be in October and they will have an academic focus. The parents received an activation code so they can see the grades online.

Last week we met at the VanDam's house for a meal meeting the volunteer group from Holland MI. These volunteers stayed at the ministry centre where they also did construction work for another building on the compound. It is always great to have fellowship together with the volunteers who are onfire for God.

This is a picture taken last Sonday where Mary had just finished feeding one of the triplets. The babies were flown to the US on a medical visa and Mary was with Vanessa to bring them to the States. Sooo she was able to also visit Janis and Dave who live in Louisville, Kentucky. A small side trip before coming home again.
