This past week Mary and I went to the Sous Espwa(Source of Hope) ministry centre where the work team from Ontario was staying during the two past weeks. They finished the concrete beams and laid a lot of blocks during their stay. They did excellent work, but their world was small during their time here.

Farewell dinner at a restaurant - oh the good life. This is one of the times we do go out to eat. The food and fellowship was terrific.

This past Friday the students gave 'care' packages to the national workers here at school during a special chapel presentation. There are about 25 workers here at school, including the custodians, cafeteria workers, gate guards. The giving of the care packages this year was much better than last year. The care packages included rice, cooking oil and more. A great Christmas care package.

This past Saturday night the staff got together for their annual Christmas celebration at Vervloet's - which was up the mountain where the air was certainly cooler. Again, good food and good fellowship and great time of praising God for the reason of the season with the singing of Christmas carols.
