This past Saturday was the Christmas bazaar on the school campus where the vendors could rent a table and sell their wares. There were about 30 vendors and a lot of people throughout the afternoon. Food was also served by the grade 12 class. It was a great time for food, fellowship and fun for the school community and the larger community. Some students asking for advice of some kids at their student booth.

These ticket sellers were part of the work team from Ontario who have been working at the Ministry Centre for Sous Espwa = Source of Hope. After they saw the flamingos in the morning on a side trip, they came and served as ticket sellers in the afternoon for a few hours, getting to know the Haitian money and the gourdes and the Haitian dollars which do not really exist.

Here are some of the grade 12 students earning their porion of the profits of the bazaar by setting up this canopy. It was a challenge until I gave them the instruction sheet.

At our MS/HS chapel this past week, the staff did a litany for the students - the Christmas Story in Scripture readings and songs.
