The dust on the road to Gonaives covered everything. No air conditioning in the car . So with windows wide open one can imagine how we felt when we arrived back hom, covered in dust!

This was part of Feed the Children in Jubilee where we held the second clinic this past Wednesday.

Some of the happy children receiving their meal for the day. It was just amazing how cheerful these children were upon meeting and greeting them.
A snapshot outside the clinic building showing the surroundings where the second clinic was held. Here we saw many slab foundations were 'houses' used to be. Many people are still homeless here and are living on rooftops of friends or relatives. Please pray that they soon may be able to have the means to construct their own little 12'X12' houses again.

Imagine this on a hot summer's day. See the giant ice blocks the man is carting away to make 'snow cones.'

Tuesday night, after the first medical clinic, Mary and I did some preparations for the clinic to be held the next morning, by counting the pills and putting them in used pill boxes and/or baggies. This speeds up the process of filling the orders the next day as prescribed by the doctors.

This is the pharmacy table, where the doctor's orders are filled out. There were also evangelist/pastors at the clinic and approximately 45 people did give their hearts to the Lord that day. Not only do these clinic look after the physical needs, but also their spiritual needs.

This was a location known as Jubilee - a desolate area near the ocean with no vegetation and dirt all around. There was a feed the children program here in the market building after the clinic was completed. Here the children heard a message, sang and prayed before getting what was probably their own meal of the day.
